I attended Dr. Slotnick's recent seminar and it was an eye opener. It revealed that many children previously labeled ADHD may actually be suffering from visual disabilities that most often are correctable. Dr.Slotnick's multi-sensory approach seems as if it would be so appealing to children. As a reading intervention teacher I learned so much about the eye-brai... n connection. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Dr. Samantha Slotnick. Her workshops are extremely informative and helped me to realize that all my life I have been compensating for a neuro processing issue related to my vision - which, when I get stressed, tends to get worse hampering my ability to comprehend what I am reading. She is truly gifted in her abilit... y to correct these issues. If you sense that you're not where you want to be in school or work, attend a workshop and speak with Dr. Slotnick. It could mean a world of difference! I know it did for me. read more

Dr. Slotnick is the best optometrist I've ever gone to. She took her time and was very thorough in addressing my vision issues. She's excellent, I'm so glad I found her. I highly recommend Dr. Slotnick to anyone.

Dr. Slotnick and her staff has worked together as a team to help my son's vision improve. His vision therapies has helped him focus, take more delight in his activities and in school (he made it to honor roll at the end of his school year!). Dr. Slotnick really cares for her patients and truly put her all into what she does!!!

I would like to thank Dr Slotnick and the vision team for working with me through vision therapy . I have been a patient for a little over two months now and I am able to learn and focus so much clearer and most important apply this learning to my daily life .Dr Slotnick is a brilliant doctor she is very kind and super smart she explains the exercises being learn... ed so well and makes you think to make sure that you understand Dr Slotnick really makes learning fun she is a great person and a fantastic gift to all who know her read more

Dr. Slotnick's skill, professionalism, and patience were instrumental in improving my eyesight more than I dared hope possible. She is indomitable, refusing to settle for less than her superb training and broad experience tell her is within her grasp. She is also a lovely person and has a great sense of humor. There is no one quite like her.

To be honest, I do not think 5 stars is enough. Dr. Slotnick goes far beyond just helping other people with their vision problems. She understands what it's like to struggle with these problems and will find and take every step to try and make the eyes work better as a team. She has specifically helped me perform significantly better not just academically, but in... my usual daily activities. read more

What appeals to me most, besides the deep comprehension- the own - of the subjet of strabismus, it's the empathy and the passion she is having that inevitably communicates with her audience and carry it away in the strabismus world making it tangible. What was really fascinating was to understand the great capacity/intelligence of the brain (of a person with stra... bismus) to adapt and that ultimately strabismus is NOT a defect, the eye misalignment is the symptom not the origin of the problem and we can help by treating the underlying problem, which is the disorganization and confusion in the visual process, with an integrated perspective on the entire global visual process. So simple because it makes SENSE! read more
